學習動物的長壽

人類都害怕面對死亡，但是有誕生就有消逝！在科技不斷進步的21世紀，人類了解到1835年由達爾文在巴拉加哥帶到英國的象龜目前依然在澳洲昆士蘭動物園，深海裡的龍蝦可以活到100歲，連製作魚子醬的鱘魚壽命也可達170年，然而，地球上最古老的生物是住在南極深海裡的桶狀玻璃海棉了，從上次冰河時期到現在，應該有一萬年了！
這些生物都有獨特的本領來面對環境，學習象龜的放慢步調，過度的壓力會縮減人類的壽命，多放鬆和微笑會分泌酵素與荷爾蒙！雖然生技公司已經由海棉當中探究其長壽的祕訣，只要我們作到下面幾件事應該依然可以活的健康長壽：1、年齡夠大再生育 2、吃的少 3、保持心智舒暢 4、多運動 5、多吃抗氧化食物像是巧克力和紅酒

The gentle creature--Manatee

Watching Kratt Brothers'Show are becoming my most favorite time in a day! Look them with much fun playing with animals. Today's show is "Be the Creature: Expedition Manatee". It's really amazing that manatees are so gentle,peaceful,and sweet~ with little shy... Manatee and elephant are closely related. This huge mammal are herbivore. They have some unique life style to live. Manatee can't survive in cold water. So they gather together at hot spring. They can snap under the water over 20 mintues. And Manatee's life can over 60 years old. They take care their calf patiently just like human. But their life still full great risk. Because the busy boat traffic, the boats come anywhere around manatee. Those boat propellers are so dangerous to the manatee. Human should think before do. We are the only being who can save other species on the earth.

保護地球

1543年天文學家哥白尼在"天體運行論"一書中提出--太陽位於宇宙中心，其他行星繞著太陽運轉。宇（extension）絕對空間，是獨立存在的，不受任何外在的影響，永遠保持原樣，且無法移動。宙（duration）絕對時間，也是獨立存在的，具有數學性，不受任何外在事件的影響，永遠以等速流逝。人類的進化從大約 700萬年前的「猿人」、300萬年前的「露西」、200萬年前的「直立人」、20萬年前的「歌亞人」、一直到最後的「智人」。生命不過是亙遠宇宙的微粒，人類也不過是地球的過客，宇宙地球不屬於我們的，我們也無權摧毀後代子孫的生存環境，人類應該自省努力保護我們地球。

能源危機

大約一百五十億年前的大霹靂，宇宙開始形成，地球大約在45億年開始，地球上的生命演化歷史大約有38億年，經年累月漫長演化歷程產生了含豐富碳的有機物質。微生物分解這些有機物質，沉積在地底層，經過數百萬年後，這些有機物質不斷被壓擠，生物分子產生了化學變化，變成現在所使用的石油、天然氣和煤炭等化石能源，煤炭是由沼澤中的植物形成，石油、天然氣則是由海底動植物形成，因此，可以說前代生物造就現在的工業文明進步。然而地球的資源並非源源不絕，工業革命以後，人類在短短的二百多年已耗盡大量能源，在過去百年中更加速消耗這些石化能源，而產生的污染加速惡化地球的環境。
皮曼岱爾：「如果全球人口依然以每年百分之 1.7的速度成長，而人人都享有美國人的生活水準，慷慨浪費能源，地球的化石燃料儲存頂多只能撐20年。」

Drosophila--果蠅

果蠅Fruit Fly有個很好聽的學名"Drosophila"，Drosophila原意為嗜酒者，正如果蠅的癖好性。人類與果蠅的祖先早在5億多年前，就已經分道揚鑣，然而果蠅與哺乳類動物，不僅在基本身體建構組織上共享相同的基因，甚至在遺傳、發育、學習..等，也都十分類似。因此，果蠅被使用來當作生物科學實驗的素材，相當普遍!
人類有46條染色體"chromosome"，總共約有7~10萬個基因，40億個腦神經細胞，果蠅則有8條染色體，大約有13500~15000個基因，13萬個腦神經細胞，染色體中含有許多基因"gene"，基因是遺傳的基本單位，攜帶的遺傳密碼可以指示細胞合成蛋白質，進行控制生物的形性表現。藉著對果蠅腦神經的研究，可以幫助我們了解人類大腦作用的機制。

Monkey Prince

I couldn't believe the program about "Monkey Prince" so real,so amazing,like a true story. Only "National Geographic" can film this~ Living in the wild monkey band is not an easy thing. Their socilal behaviors are much like ours. By touch,itch,clean hair each other to show their close relative. The members flatter authority, obey power and fear force just like human being. The young moneys' naughty and innocent acts are quite similar ours. Once monkey's refuge in band was disappeared,he will have nothing to depend upon. His life fall into the great dangerous. It's an animal that is just content doing what it has done, as long as the species has been around. The more we realize them, the more we understand ourself. I really enjoy this abundant and multiply earth planet！

Killer Whale

Killer Whale”虎鯨”，俗稱”殺人鯨”其實是具高智慧和複雜美麗的大海豚，”虎鯨”的身長將近10公尺、體重近10噸。研究發現”虎鯨”有居留型（Resident ）主要分部在北太平洋、阿拉斯加附近，靠捕魚生存，另一為遷徙型（Transient）主要活動於北美洲沿岸太平洋海域，靠獵捕為生。這兩種”虎鯨”類型在基因並無差異，但在生活型態與社會行為卻很不一樣。磷蝦會吃掉海洋中的浮游生物，豐富的磷蝦供應大海中的魚，魚是海獅的主食，”虎鯨”則是這個海洋生態圈中的最上層的生物。最新研究發現無論是居留型（Resident ）或是遷徙型（Transient）虎鯨，身體內都含劇毒—多濾聯苯，這不禁要讓我們憂心，環境繼續惡化，未來我們是否將面臨這個優雅美麗的巨大生物從地球消失？

Global Warming

地球的平均溫度持續上昇，導至地球暖化現象。除了氣候的改變外，暖化的地球也使得雨林生態改變，海平面上升，地球上的植物、野生動物還有人類都會受巨大的衝擊。地球從冰河時期(18,000年)到現在，溫度僅增加華氏7度，當時整個北美洲都是冰河覆蓋的；然而科學家從人造衛星收集到的資料，卻發現過去一百年來地球溫度大約增加華氏1度，並且預估在下一個世紀溫度會再增加華氏2度到6度。地球溫度急劇的上升，人為的溫室效應是日益暖化的主因，這是一個不容忽視的問題。
我們只有一個地球，保護地球上的生態真的是刻不容緩，至少每個人都應盡量做到：1、節約能源 2、駕駛省油的小車 3、騎自行車，搭乘大眾運輸或走路4、多種植物 5、資源回收 6、使用省電環保產品7、閱讀相關資料8、告訴你的朋友與家人。

Big Cat

There are three big cat families liveing in Africa prairie--lion,leopard,cheetah. They all strive to live with their distinctive talent. Lion is the king of the grassland, together they dare to attack the elephant. But only during the rare food souce. Leopard can climb up the tree once she catches the prey. So she could enjoy her trophy without obstacle. Cheetah is the fastest running speed in the land, she has the mast elegant shape and beautiful skeleton in the world. But she is the most pitying among them I think. Hyena, jaquar, vulture ..anyone can plunder her prey. Live in the wild world, each big cat need the ability to outwit the opponents and the skill to struggle challenge for survival.

Wild Dog "Nicky"

Life of the Africa wild dog “Nicky” was so tough. The dog whole life has been through naïve infant, active younger, facing the nature enemy – lions, human, lost families, and lover, join the different band…. So unbelievable! Being a wild dog~ The life full risk and dangerous. If life can survive is lucky. I always think that we human are pound ourselves as the highest position in ecosystem. But what do we do for the earth? Do we really contribute the most on the earth? No, we are the most catastrophic in the world. It’s impression that using the movie technic to show the wild dog life in Discovery Channel. More dramatic~ More touching~ and make me impression!
